Training: In 2003 I Graduated from the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts which featured a western approach to massage with emphasis on pain relief through neuromuscular therapy. Later I also studied Pregnancy Massage, Corrective Bodywork with Dr Bruce Costello, Integrative Reflexology, Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique and Burn Scar Massage as part of my dedication to continuing education.
Practice Philosophy: I believe that massage should be a nurturing experience that feels comforting and is effective - after all you want to know you've had a massage, right?
Why I do what I do: I practice massage therapy because I love people! I have seen how it helps people both mentally and physically, and I feel privileged to facilitate that kind of self healing.
About me: My husband and I enjoy scenic drives and time with family. We moved away from Cartersville while I went to massage school, but came right back. My first location was inside Ladies Fitness and Health for three years, then 12 S Erwin for nearly six years and now it's been about ten years at 12 Nelson Street!
